The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia invites full-time second-year law students (students having
completed 2/3 of the graduation requirements) to apply for our exciting summer internship program. This rewarding and valuable experience often acts as a gateway to career opportunities in
Prosecution.
Interns will have the opportunity to:
• Work in either a District Attorney's or Solicitor-General's office;
• Practice criminal law under the Third Year Practice Act;
• Gain hands-on experience in court;
• Attend 7- day Basic Litigation course;
• Potentially attend Summer Conference on Jekyll Island.
Details:
Internship duration: 10 weeks - Monday, June 2 through Friday, August 8, 2008
Compensation: $3,500.00 for the 10 week period paid bi-weekly
Criminal background check and drug screening required.

program. Specifically, list all counties in Georgia where you can live and/or commute to from your
summer residence. The more rural your potential work location, the more opportunities there are
available. Interview will be scheduled for all potential interns.
