PAC Summer Internship Program

The Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of Georgia invites full-time second-year law students (students having completed 2/3 of the graduation requirements) to apply for our exciting summer internship program. This rewarding and valuable experience often acts as a gateway to career opportunities in Prosecution.

Interns will have the opportunity to:

• Work in either a District Attorney's or Solicitor-General's office;
• Practice criminal law under the Third Year Practice Act;
• Gain hands-on experience in court;
• Attend 7- day Basic Litigation course;
• Potentially attend Summer Conference on Jekyll Island.

Details: Internship duration: 10 weeks - Monday, June 2 through Friday, August 8, 2008

Compensation: $3,500.00 for the 10 week period paid bi-weekly

Criminal background check and drug screening required.

Please forward resume, along with cover letter describing why you wish to participate in this program. Specifically, list all counties in Georgia where you can live and/or commute to from your summer residence. The more rural your potential work location, the more opportunities there are available.
