This year the process to convert eligible sick leave to Personal Leave will be done online through the Team.Georgia.gov website. Beginning Monday, December 8th, the Employee Self-Service site will begin to display a new option to convert eligible sick leave to Personal Leave. This option will be available through December 31st after which, you will no longer be able to convert any leave.

Remember, you can only convert up to 24 hours which must leave a balance of 120 hours or more in sick leave after you convert.  Sick leave balances are calculated as of November 30th. Any Personal leave you converted in 2008 must be used by Dec. 31st or it will be lost. Any leave converted for 2009 must be used by Dec. 31st 2009 or it will be lost.
