Changes to the Georgia Prosecutor's Welfare Fraud Prosecution Program
The notification letters used in TANF/SNAP fraud (formerly known as food stamp fraud) cases to schedule appointments with welfare benefits recipients who are suspected of having committed fraud by not reporting income, have been revised so that they comply with the requirements of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct (GRPC). Revised New Evidence Code Pre-Filed for 2009 Legislature
Legislation to revamp the Evidence Code has been prefiled in the House of Representatives as HB 24. If enacted, the 129 page Bill would replace the current Title 24 on January 1, 2011.
