January 2009 will mark the 6th observance of National Stalking Awareness Month (NSAM), a time to focus on a dangerous crime and seek ways to protect its victims.
This year's NSAM theme, "Stalking: Know It. Name It. Stop It." challenges communities to combat stalking by learning more about it and taking action.
The National Center for Victims of Crime's Stalking Resource Center, in partnership with the Office on Violence Against Women of the U.S. Department of Justice, is pleased to present a versatile set of resources to help you plan your activities during 2009 National Stalking Awareness Month.
You can find these resources at the just-launched NSAM Web site at http://stalkingawarenessmonth.org. The site offers camera-ready artwork, fact sheets, posters, media tools, and much more.
